Wow this woman is amazing. But this article is inaccurate. She first off did not work as a plumber, she was a member of Zegota, a group dedicated to helping Jews. She worked as a social worker and gained access to the ghetto by getting issued a permit to investigate possible typhus outbreak.
Along with over two dozen people of Zegota, they smuggled out over 2500 people.
I think its important to get the facts correct and not undermine what she and many others did by sensationalizing it. Because what she did was sensational. No need to leave out parts to make her seem even better then she is. The woman was amazing, without twisted facts in her favor.
